ICME 2025

ICME-IMEC 2025 was successfully held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 9–12 October 2025 under the theme “Globalisation of Health Professions Education: Strategies, Stakeholders and Sustainability.” The conference was organized by Riphah International University in collaboration with International Medical University (IMU). It attracted wide international participation from medical education leaders, institutions, and universities worldwide. A major highlight was the presentation of the Zulfiqar Lifetime Achievement Award to Ronald M. Harden for his four decades of contributions to medical education. Six major associations—ICME, IMEC, AMEE, IAMSE, SIMEC, and ESME—gathered under one platform to foster global collaboration.
