Zahra Vazirova, MD, PhD is the head of the Intensive Care Unit at
the National Center for Oncology with 25+ years of experience in clinical
medicine and 50+ published articles.
Since 2018 Zahra has been the head of the Education Simulation
Center of the Baku branch of the I.M.Sechenov First Moscow State Medical
University, aiming to improve the quality of specialist training by introducing
simulation technology. In the same year, she as well co-founded the first
Azerbaijan patronage service.
Zahra is also the executive director of the Azerbaijan Medical
Simulation Center Association, chairman of the Azerbaijan Intensive Care
and Anesthesiology Society, vice president of the Azerbaijan Toxicologists
Society, and a member of the Interregional Association of Clinical
Microbiology and Antimicrobial Chemotherapy.
